Though born in the East Bay, Rebecca has lived and traveled all over the country. After many years away, she is happy to be back settled down near her family. She has worked with women and children all her life, and loves being able to help empower others with support and knowledge!
What are your favorite hobbies?
All things music, reading, and painting
What is the most amazing place you have visited and why?
There are a lot of beautiful places on this Earth, but I must say that New York City is perhaps the most amazing place I have ever been. The energy that buzzes and pulsates throughout that island day or night is electrifying.
How do you unwind after a long day?
A leisurely dinner and a long hot shower.
Do you have any favorite places to eat in San Francisco?
I’m still working my way through the city, I hope to learn everyone else’s!
What is your favorite aspect of Burn?
The strong, welcoming, and positive energy.
Who is your ultimate celebrity crush?
Neil Patrick Harris
Lastly, how did you become involved in the fitness industry?
I used to be in the music business, booking and managing bands. Between that and college I did not have much time for self care or rest, but the times I did find to come to the yoga mat always provided me with something that I was unable to find anywhere else — a true sense of balance and peace. After over ten years of personal practice, I made the decision last year to become a teacher; to dedicate myself to my own health and wellbeing, and to help others do the same.
