Can you believe it’s the holidays already? 2015 just flew by! Winter is upon us, and December is filled with lots of eggnog, holiday parties, and travel! Let’s be honest, it’s much easier to stay cozy under a blanket watching movies than working out. To help you out, we have compiled five ways to keep you motivated!

1) Schedule Your Classes
Set a time each week to book your classes for the week. Have holiday parties from Thursday–Saturday nights? Then get your Burn on Monday–Wednesday. By scheduling classes, you are more likely to show up.

2) Grab Your Friends and Co-workers
Working out is always more fun with friends! Having someone to keep you accountable means you will make it to class. Even better, find a co-worker who wants to set achievable goals and hit up Burn after work. The Broadway and Market studios are very close to the Financial District. Pack a gym bag along with your work bag. Exercise is the perfect stress release after a long day at work, especially finishing out the year end frenzy.


3)  Staying in the Bay Area? We Got You Covered!
I’m sure you are thrilled by our expansion to the East and South Bay. So if you are a Bay Area native or just doing more of a staycation–our new studios are perfect for you!  Across the bridge or down the 280, you can still get that 55 minute escape in Oakland and Saratoga.


4) Traveling Far Away? We Got You Covered too!
We know that traveling can mean a long time sitting, whether on a plane or in the car. Make sure to grab Lisa’s Burn DVD before you hit the road. All you need is a mat and a couple of weights to get your heart rate up and tone your body. Want to show your friends and family, who aren’t familiar with Burn? 5) Treat Yo’ Self
Presents to be wrapped, turkeys to be cooked etc. etc.—the list goes on about holiday stressors. Take an hour a day just for yourself to reconnect with your body and mind. You will feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the next task, knowing you did something good for yourself.
