Meet the Newest Members of Our Team
Born and raised in San Francisco, Ysabel studied journalism and Spanish at Loyola University of New Orleans. After taking a strength and weight training class her senior year of high school, she realized the confidence and power that working out gave her and decided this would be a part of her life forever. After returning from college in the summer of 2016 after four years in New Orleans — a tough city to stay healthy in — she threw herself back into a health and fitness routine and found herself at Burn’s front desk, and eventually transitioning to an instructor position. While health and fitness are extremely important in Ysabel’s life, she lives for the city’s best food and drink and spends her free time writing about SF’s most delicious spots on her blog.
Alexa was born and raised in Southern California, but is now enjoying the cooler weather here in San Francisco. She has always had a passion for fitness, and was enrolled in dance classes since she was five years old. She moved to San Francisco four years ago for college and will be earning her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Dance in May 2017. She actually found out about Burn through a school assignment and decided to go with it! After working the front desk at Burn for a year and half, she decided she wanted to be more involved with helping clients achieve their fitness goals and started her journey on becoming an instructor. She is excited to be a part of this amazing team and is ready to see you sweat it out in class!
