Kirsten is a native San Franciscan who believes fitness should be fun, functional, and empowering. She grew up playing team sports but only discovered the intense connection between the mind’s will and the body’s capabilities when she started running, rock climbing, and practicing yoga. While studying Food Science & Technology at UC Davis, Kirsten fell in love with group fitness and strength training. Now, she is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and group fitness instructor. She strives to teach Burn classes that leave everyone sweaty, smiling, and walking with a little more swagger.
