March (un) Madness

I know it’s cliché, but 2016 is flying by. I can’t believe it’s already March.  I spent this weekend going through my journal from the holidays and looking at my 2016 goals surrounding health and fitness.

I was super keen on adding more protein to my diet and to maintain my fitness routine of working out 3–4x a week. Like most goals, I have slipped. Sometimes carbs and comfort food seem much better than grilled chicken. And, I am okay with that. It’s been such a hectic two months with work trips, SF events, and family parties.

March is a great time to reset. We are far enough away from New Years that it’s good to reflect on priorities going forward that will propel oneself to a happy and healthy spring and summer. The idea of balance is really important, especially in this tech culture right now, and I am all for making sure that I am putting health and fitness first. I strongly believe if those two are solid, then everything else will come into place.

A few of my March (un) madness goals:
• Start a daily practice
• Integrate myself more in a fitness community
• Stretch more after Burn
