Happy Saturday! Today we learn more about Burn instructor Hayley Bowman.
1) What are your foremost hobbies?
Hiking, cooking, puzzles, and trying new things!
2) What is the most amazing place you have visited and why?
Well I would have to say two places: The first is Mount Whitney. I just went hiking with my brother and summited the mountain…I can’t explain the views and emotion of making it up there. Second, would be Torres Del Paine in Patagonia, Chile. Again like nothing I’ve ever seen…
3) How do you unwind after a long day?
After a long day… eat, watch a favorite show, stretch, maybe read, and PASS OUT! …I love my sleep.
4) Do you have any favorite places to eat in San Francisco?
I work so much that I still have a lot of places and things to explore in the Bay Area…I haven’t found that one and only favorite place to eat yet.
5) What is your favorite aspect of Burn?
What I love in my workout is weights. My body feels so much better when I do weight training. Having that and the combo of cardio in perfect intervals is what I love about Burn! All in one.
6) Who is your ultimate celebrity crush?
Ahhh, again so hard to choose. If had to, I would say Matthew McConaughey!
7) Lastly, how did you become involved in the fitness industry?
As a dancer, I have always been looking for cross training methods to strengthen, balance, and compliment my body and the amount of dance I have had to do in my training. I have also had surgery on both of my ankles, which required a ton of physical therapy before and after those procedures. I learned lot about my body and other bodies. Also, was a huge learning experience to see how much one’s body can adapt and change! Truly amazing, and glad I can share that experience in each Burn class.
